Grove Racing Unveils Stunning Penrite Anniversary Livery
The Melbourne-based racing team has unveiled a stunning new livery to commemorate Penrite Oil's 100th anniversary. The reveal took place at a sponsor function on Friday night, ahead of a public event today. Grove Racing is aiming for its first Supercars title this season with drivers Matt Payne and Kai Allen, who will be joined by Will Davison and Tim Slade in the Enduro Cup.
The team's impressive performance in the 2025 season, where Payne and Garth Tander won Bathurst and Allen was a Grand Finalist, has set the stage for this exciting development. Grove's commitment to excellence is reflected in the new livery, which goes beyond a simple visual update.
"Celebrating 100 years of Penrite Oil is a special moment for our team," said team owner Stephen Grove. "As an Australian business, still family-owned and operated, it honors their remarkable history. This livery represents more than just a new look; it reflects the strength of our partnerships, which are central to everything we do, and the standards we hold ourselves to."
The cars will carry the numbers #19 and #26, referencing the year Penrite was established. Penrite Oil CEO Toby Dymond emphasized the significance of this milestone, stating, "Reaching our 100th year is a moment we’re incredibly proud of, and the gold livery is a meaningful way to mark that milestone."
The black and gold design pays homage to the iconic JPS colors of the 1970s and '80s, a tribute that Penrite-backed Erebus acknowledged in 2019. Grove Racing is also gearing up to compete in the Bathurst 12 Hour with a Mercedes-AMG GT3, featuring Allen, Davison, and Brenton Grove.
