Snowstorm Disrupts Singapore Airlines Flights to and from New York

- SQ22, departing Singapore for New York (Newark) on December 27 at 5:30 AM
All times are local. The storm is expected to bring heavy snowfall to New York City and Long Island from the afternoon of December 26 to December 27, with up to 20cm of snow predicted before the storm subsides.
SIA has issued an advisory on its website, warning that the situation remains fluid and that other flights may also be affected. Customers are advised to check the Flight Status page for the latest information on their flights. The airline will also be contacting all affected customers to inform them of the cancellations.
Those affected by the cancellations can be re-accommodated on alternative flights or can seek a full refund of the unused portion of their ticket. This disruption comes as hundreds of flights have been cancelled at New York's major airports due to the winter storm, causing significant travel disruptions during the holiday season.
